Caitlin Clarke couldn’t contain her excitement over Butler’s thrilling win

Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark spent a lot of time watching the Butler men’s basketball team play during the WNBA offseason.

She became a Bulldogs fan after they hired her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, as an assistant coach in their program. Since then, Clark has attended several of the team’s games, and was even seen wearing a Butler sweater at one of them.

Of course, the 22-year-old’s unparalleled star power allows her to be on camera frequently during these games. It’s led to plenty of viral moments, like when she and Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton shared a laugh after Butler’s Jack McCaffery (Connor’s younger brother) celebrated a successful shot.

Butler played Northwestern on Thanksgiving Day and won a thrilling 71-69 contest. And cameras captured Clark’s joy after victory was secured.

User X @BigeastBarroom posted a video of Clark’s reaction to the win with the caption: “Kaitlyn Clark is all of us watching Butler hang on to this win!”

And user X @ericaf455 posted four different videos and angles of Clark’s celebration with the caption: “Camera team got great footage of Kaitlyn at Butler’s game. I love her reaction to Butler’s performance and the last-second win.”

Butler is off to a very strong start to the 2024-25 season with a 5-1 record. And Clark and the rest of the Butler fan base will be hoping they continue their winning ways when they play the 25th-ranked Mississippi State Bulldogs on Friday.
